Don't Let Me Down is a song by The Chainsmokers. It was released on February, 2016. The song features vocals from American singer Daya.

The song is in  the key of G♯ minor. But my arrangement is in the key of A minor. Don't Let Me Down follows a chord progression of F – C – G – Am. Genre is Trap and dance-pop. When you read the title, you expect that lyrics are about a girl/boy who is hopping to have one person by his/her side no matter what. And you are right. But it also seems that boy/girl has already lost her/his "rock" (I call your name but you're not around). But there is still hope (I hope, that you'll be here, when I need you the most, so don't let me down).

On Billboard you can read what Matt Medved has written about this song: »"I'm super proud of it," says Taggart. "I think it's one of the best songs I've written and produced. I think people are going to be pretty blown away by it and it's very different than 'Roses,' which is nice."«
